Net Entertainment software earns eCOGRA accreditation

Complaints down 19 percent at eCOGRA operations

Tex Rees, the Fair Gaming Advocate at independent player protection and standards organisation eCOGRA, released half yearly statistics on player disputes with Safe and Fair accredited casinos and poker rooms this week, noting a 19 percent decrease in valid disputes over the same period in 2007, and that 49 percent of disputes were resolved in favour of the player.

EGBA and eCOGRA team up on high standards for responsible gaming

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) launched a comprehensive set of standards that covers all aspects of player protection, fair gaming and responsible operator behaviour in the online gaming and betting environment this week. These standards complement stringent legal requirements already imposed by European Union licensing jurisdictions.
